Our Houston Visit

With two very good excuses (both involving cars), we headed South to Houston this weekend. I needed to get my car serviced for the first time at the dealership where we bought it and Rodney had to pick up his latest Ebay find, an Avanti. Of course, while there, we had to pay a visit to the Houston branch of our family. As usual, we had lots of fun, involving playing in the very welcome sunshine and watching Dade and Luke's soccer match.

Houston Kiddo Visit

We've had two weekends in a row with Tommy, Allison, and their sweet young'uns! Last weekend they came here...

Brave Boys in the Backyard!

One of the benefits of have a manlift in the back yard for the never-ending painting of our house is the opportunity for little boys to go on the ride of their lives!

Longview Grandkid Fun!

We've enjoyed lots of visits from Christopher and Joshua lately. This is a sampling of some of the fun we've had. Christopher loves to build and calls his elaborate and always different lego structures his "Susies." We don't know why... We celebrated the Truman Smith Center's 20th Anniversary with pony rides and fun there. We also ran into Uncle Robert (my dad's brother) and Aunt Anita and two of their great-grandkids. We are definitely related to that family!
